NEURONS - FREE ARTS AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

Neurons is one of the most exciting and groundbreaking projects undertaken by 20Twenty Productions. We are proud to have reacted so quickly to the challenges faced by society today, and can confirm the programme is now live. We have acted with creative vigour to design a service that, that uses a recognised learning strategy, to support many children and young people within our community and beyond.

DESIGNED TO HELP PARENTS AT HOME

Neurons has been, and will continue to be, developed by our team to be used in your home. Neurons will help nurture the fun of learning, which is currently impeded while pupils are confined to their home. Our co-production of Neurons with school professionals means the service will be used by schools and families for many years to come. This means your child will have access to a wide range of engaging activities that will help occupy and challenge their mind while at home. It is important that children and young people continue to develop their knowledge and creative spirit during this challenge time.

Use what you already have

Children, young people and families will not be expected to purchase any unusual items to participate in Neurons. To help keep costs down, and to reduce the need to shop, we will make every effort to only use typical household/family items within our activities. This means the Neurons program will be as inclusive as possible. We believe that every household should be able to participate in the majority of our activities and webinars should they wish to. We may, however, provide additional activities that need further resources, such as an iPad or similar.

When schools re-open

Neurons will continue to deliver creative and cultural activities for many years to come. The program is designed to support families during the social distancing period now and also after pupils return to school. We believe Neurons will help inspire more families to learn together at home. This means your efforts now will benefit your familiy in the longer term, as we believe the Neurons program will be adopted by more schools in the future.
