20Twenty Productions CIC was created on 25th October 2011. We are a not-for-profit organisation that uses creativity and participation to engage and empower children and young people so they may build confidence, essential skills for life and one or more creative skill sets. Working strategically, collaboratively and directly as creative practitioners we inspire young people to realise their potential whilst growing as leaders. Our programmes, projects and events are designed with and for young people. 20Twenty Productions supports creative industry development; empowering young people to gain qualifications and access real world opportunities. If you would like to know more about the work we do please email us.

The Geri Crooke Trust

On the 17th June 2019 a treasured team member and deeply loved friend died in a car accident. Geri was such an important part of the 20Twenty family and she will never be forgotten. This trust is designed not only to keep all of our memories of Geri alive and vivid, but also to help more disadvantaged children and young people access what was, or is, Geri’s passion. The theatre.

Geri was herself a trained actress. Geri used her skills to support hundreds of children and young people within both our school projects and our own Youth Theatres. Our theatres flourished due to Geri's love of the theatre and her boundless care and commitment to all of the children and young people that attended any of the theatre groups. Geri’s Song is a fundraising event where the money raised will be placed in to the Geri Crooke Trust.

Geri also delivered our LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) sessions to a consistently high standard. This was evident in the high pass rate of the children that entered. However, Geri's baby was our Connections Festival Theatre group who she nurtured from the start with her director partner, Glen.

The Geri Crooke Trust will therefore support children and young people that cannot afford to go to the theatre but would like to watch a theatre productions or children who want to take LAMDA qualifications but cannot afford the fees.

If you have any fundraising ideas for the Geri Crooke Trust then we would love to hear them. In the first instance please contact Katherine directly to discuss your suggestion.

"Without our funders, 20Twenty Productions would not exist. In a world where all children and young people were treated with respect, equality, and afforded creative and artistic opportunities to express themselves, we would not need to."
